When it comes to super hero movies, The Avengers certainly sits high up on the must-see in theaters list. It was seen quite a bit, too with 1.49 billion earned worldwide at the box office. It looks like those numbers are set to increase according to Marvel Studio’s official Facebook page. Marvel Studios is returning The Avengers to the theater for one week during the Labor Day weekend.

This will include 1,705 theaters and it should be quite a hit. Not only is The Avengers a phenomenal movie, but it is also much more impressive on the big screen. The Joss Whedon film stars all the heavy hitters from the super hero smashes of the past including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Hemsworth to name a few.

This action adventure has certainly made it’s mark on the entertainment and movie world, but it will certainly get plenty of business on that Labor Day Weekend. It seems that the super hero genre is not ready to slow down just yet, with plenty of excitement yet to come. The Avengers serves as one of the biggest and brightest.

Marvel also hinted at a possible addition to the film as it reminded folks to stay until the final credits rolled. I wonder if either something is added in the credits or perhaps there is a new preview or short at the end of the credits? On a personal note, I might add that if you have not seen The Avengers yet, this is the perfect chance to see it as it was intended. This movie is so much better on the big screen. Take the time to invest a few bucks and go see this at your favorite theater. You will not regret it for one moment.
