Woody Allen is in the process of casting his next film and we know that he is planning to have Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Man) play the lead female role.  While Allen’s schedule may be clear- except for press for Blue Jasmine, starring Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin and opening July 26th- Stone is filming both Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman and Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  She’s also been attached to the untitled Cameron Crowe project and Guillermo del Toro’s next film, Crimson Peak.  DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods will have Stone back in the recording studio since it was such a success.  She will lend her amazing voice to the announced sequel.  Deadline reports that Allen’s next picture may now also be on her schedule.
