Halle Berry Talks About The Call, X-Men, and More
Brad Anderson’s admirable thriller The Call gives a welcome back to thriller-maven, Halle Berry. Despite the fact Berry is a so-called “serious actor” her past films “Things We Lost in the Fire”, “Monsters Ball”, “The Rich Mans Wife”, “Gothika” and “Perfect Stranger” show that she is efficient at mixing it up a little.
In The Call, one of her best films, Jordan Turner (Halle Berry) a 911 operator who’s mishandling of a call results in a young girls death. This leaves Turner beyond scared. About six months later, Jordan finds herself once again in the same position she was once in on the other side of the phone attempting to help a young girl (Abigail Breslin) out of the hands of a madman. It is a difficult role to play but Halle sells it for all it’s worth. A dedicated actress indeed.
