Is Universal Considering Directors Jeff Wadlow, Brad Furman, and Harald Zwart for FAST & FURIOUS 7?

Justin Lin, the director of Fast & Furious 6 announced that he will not be returning to direct Fast & Furious 7.  Although Fast & Furious has yet to hit theaters,  star Vin Diesel has suggested to start shooting Fast & Furious 7 as early as this summer, which means that Universal needs to find a new director ASAP.  Of course any director would take the helm, the top contenders are Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2), Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer), and Harald Zwart (The Karate Kid).

Jeff Wadlow seems to most likely take the helm for Fast & Furious 7, because he is finishing Kick-Ass 2 with nothing else planned.  Universal is experienced with him so most likely he will be given the opportunity to be the director.  Wadlow has directed two other films such as Never Back Down and Cry_ Wolf, which he made with the $1,000,000 he won at the 2002 Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival.  Wadlow seems perfect for the job, and I’m pretty sure he’ll get this job.
