Liam Neeson to Star in GANG STORY Remake for SAFE HOUSE Director Daniel Espinosa

Liam Neeson is starring in another crime thriller, A Gang Story and Safe House.  Safe House director Daniel Espinosa is stuck on directing the Thunder Road production with a script by David Scarpa (Daredevil reboot).  The original Safe House is about a former organized crime member who, at the brink of 60 years old, is trying to move on his crime life behind him and take care of his wife, children and grandchildren.  Trouble stirs when his former friend-who has done nothing to give up the crime life- comes back into his life.

We are not sure when production might begin, and Neeson and Espinosa both have projects on their hands.  Neeson is busy with shooting Seth MacFarlane‘s comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West and is also starring in Run All Night.  Neeson is also being targeted for the depression-era drama Highwaymen, while Espinosa is taking over the thriller Child 44 and is attached to the Yakuza film, The Outsider and the John Grisham modification, The Racketeer.
