Miguel Arteta to direct Disney’s ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY
Judith Viorst’s childrens book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has been made into a Disney film. To direct this movie Disney has brought to light, Miguel Arteta. Despite the fact that Cholodenko and Rob Lieber produced this script, Arteta is contemplating rewriting the script for the film.
This movie is essentially about a kid named Alexander (Steve Carell) who woke up with gum in his hair and his day gets from bad to worse. Artetas past films like Youth in Revolt and Cedar Rapids and his TV shows like Enlightened and Six Feet Under gives him the expeience to compound comedy and drama. Disney is anticipating to get this underway in Fall 2013 and with Artetas talent, Disney is frantic to get started.
