Nature Calls Releases First Red Band Trailer

Nature Calls, the movie that everyone is expecting to be the foulest, most obscene movie of the season, has finally released their first red band trailer from Magnet Releasing. The movie is essentially about a bunch of men that have no business being boy scout leaders ending up on a camping trip with a bunch of trashy mouthed boy scouts. The fireworks that ensue are supposed to be hilarious.

It is clear to me that these types of movies are either hit or miss in a big way. Either this movie will become a huge cult classic or the movie will fall flat on it’s face. With a cast including Patton Oswalt, Johnny Knoxville, Rob Riggle and Patrice O’Neal it is hard to imagine this being in the flop category. These folks have such a built in following that they will have success regardless on some levels. The people that love Johnny Knoxville will watch this movie no matter what happens.

Another huge plus in favor of the flick is that director Todd Rohal has his hands on it. If anyone can pull off this type of flick it would be Rohal.

Upon watching the trailer, my first impression is that the movie is not very good. The humor feels a bit forced and like it is being read off a cue card. That said, trailers rarely convey the feel and tone of a movie like this. Until you see it at feature length you just don’t know what you might have.

Nature Calls is due out in theaters on November 9, and on VOD in October. The trailer is available for your viewing up above. What do you think of it so far? Do you think it will be a huge hit or a major flop at the theaters? Put your thoughts in the comments below.
