Nerd Out on This: ‘The Avengers 2′ Will Include an ‘X-Men’ Crossover
The Avengers have became one of the all-time highest grossing movies. Fans have actually started to wonder if any movies featuring Marvel characters will be owned by any other studio. Right now Disney and Marvel are only working with characters that they are allowed too. This came as a surprise to me but these characters do not include Spiderman who is owned by Sony and X-Men who is owned by Fox. The day will come when characters can crossover into each others films. This will make fans go crazy!
Well this will come sooner then you think! Joss Whedon has recently said that he was suggesting adding a brother-sister duo to The Avengers sequel. EW has confirmed through sources that the current Avengers 2 script does in fact include a duo of brother and sister. This is Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch who’s father is chief X-Men villain Magneto. I know what your thinking. “Pinch me”
Kevin Feige would not either deny or confirm this news but he did actually say that the “draft could change six months from now.” Now remember that just because the siblings are the kids of Magneto, does not mean that he will actually be in the movie. Avengers 3 may be a good idea to start laying down the foundation of Avengers and X-Men teaming up. What do you think?
