Oscar Isaac (Drive) and Domhnall Gleeson (Anna Karenina) are going to be lead roles in Alex Garland‘s Ex Machina.  Ex Machina is about a disgustingly wealthy programmer who summons a young employee to participate in an experiment.  The experiment involves an intelligent female robot that he invented.  It is known that Issac will be playing the role of the billionare and Gleeson will play the role of the employee.

It is reported that Felicity Jones (Like Crazy) and Alicia Vikander (Anna Karenina) are two possible candidates for the role of the female robot.  It seems like the $15 million sic-fi indie is making the right moves at casting since these actors have an affordable price tag.

  • Issac is the lead role in the Coen Brothers‘ upcoming film Inside Llweyn Davis.
  • Gleeson is co-starring with Rachel McAdams in the sci-fi dramedy About Time
  • Jones has a role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as well as a leading female role in the drama True Story.
  • Vikander has the love interest role in the upcoming fantasy film, Seventh Son.

As you can see all of these actors are on the road to success, which will eventually make the upcoming film Ex Machina a success.
